As part of their Art, Culture, and History training, your candidates had an informative and intriguing session at the Y Art Gallery for the opening of White Cube where they met with renowned studio artist Kenwyn Crichlow, and enjoyed the selection of contemporary pieces on display from local artists.

"Painting is the pathway, a processual to the secret landscape of the mind, the chalice space in which paint material emerges as the 'living ground'" (Crichlow, 2016)

Following the opening, Aioli Marketplace generously provided their own delicious culinary works of art for our candidates whose appetite for art and culture was now being matched by hunger. The session ended with a visit to the Art Society of Trinidad & Tobago headquarters where President Peter Sheppard gave some insight, history, and happenings at the organization.

Thank you to Y Art Gallery, Aioli Marketplace, Art Society of Trinidad & Tobago, and Peter Sheppard for this one of a kind learning experience.
