As of July 31st, 2018, all preliminary round competitions have been closed. The scoring has been secured, and the judges’ decisions are final.
We turn our attention now to the main stage at NAPA where on August 5th one of our ten captivating candidates, each worthy in their own right of donning the crown, will commence her reign as Miss World Trinidad & Tobago 2018.
The march to the finals heats up with a series of preliminary competitions each candidate must participate in and be judged on. Awards will be presented to the winners during the 2018 Miss World Trinidad and Tobago pageant, on August 5th, 2018 at NAPA Port of Spain.
Top Model Competition (July 7th 2018, 3PM @ Gulf City Mall) – At this event, candidates will demonstrate their modelling and stage performance techniques before an esteemed judging panel and live audience. The top 3 will be declared on the same day, with the winner of the Top Model Award being announced and awarded at the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago Finals. The Top Model Competition event is open to the public and all supporters at no cost (event details here).
Talent Night (July 20th 2018, 7PM @ Cascadia Hotel) – Candidates will render individual talent performances before an esteemed judging panel and live audience. The top 3 will be declared on the same day and the winner of the Talent Award will be subsequently announced and awarded at the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago Finals. Talent Night is open to the public and supporters; admission is $100 TTD at the door (event details here).
Fitness Challenge – A challenge designed specifically to test the athletic abilities of all candidates. The top 3 will be declared on the same day, and the winner of the Athletic Award will be subsequently announced and awarded at the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago Finals. This event is private.
Multi-Media Award (August 5, 2018 NAPA) – This category pays attention to the official social media pages of each candidate with specific focus on engagement and content. The top 3 will be announced, and the winner of the Multi Media Award will be declared at the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago Finals.
